Meet The Team

Jordan Ruttert

Founder & Writer
Jordan graduated from NYU in May 2024 with a degree in journalism and English. After college, she bought a subscription to Masterclass and began teaching herself how to write a screenplay after listening to lessons from industry titans such as Shonda Rhimes, The Duffer Brothers, and Aaron Sorkin.

Currently enrolled in UCLA’s professional screenwriting program, Jordan is a multi-hyphenate writer, producer, and director. Often drawing inspiration from the strong women who raised her, Jordan is passionate about telling stories that reflect the struggles and triumphs of the everyday woman.

Jordan recently worked with her sister to develop “THE REVERB,” a Gen Z dramedy that explores the distinction between morality and justice. Overseeing the project from script to screen, Jordan developed a deep passion for collaborating across departments to bring a collective vision to life.

Jordan is currently working on an untitled WWII novel (which she also envisions as a screenplay) and a family drama that analyzes the effects of the matriarch’s downfall on the family unit and the long path to rebuilding what has been lost.

Founder

Janie Ruttert

Janie is a producer and director passionate about developing character-driven stories that blend drama with humor. Janie attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and began seriously pursuing film and television after co-creating “THE REVERB” with her sister, helping guide the project from concept through production while managing the logistical planning that brought it to life.

She works across producing, directing, and story development, with a particular love for writing humor and bringing levity to dramatic narratives. Janie currently serves as a logistics officer in the U.S. Army and brings the same discipline, organization, and problem-solving mindset to her creative work.
